We will return to having in-person Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer Meeting on May 6, at 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary.
We have blocked off every other pew to observe the 6 ft. Social Distancing guideline.
Our Bible Study time will be broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube. Once completed, the broadcast will be a recorded video you can watch anytime. So you can join us for Bible Study online if that works best for you.
There will be no Wednesday Meal or Nursery care and classes for Children/Youth because of the 6 ft. Social Distancing guideline.

Cornerstone Wednesday Bible Study – 4/29/20 – “Come to Jesus”
Here is our Wednesday Bible Study for April 29, 2020, “Come to Jesus,” from Matthew 11:28-30.
Next Wednesday, May 6, 2020, we will return to having in-person Wednesday Bible Studies at the church, at 6:30 pm. It is our plan to also broadcast the Bible Study live on our YouTube Channel (most reliable) and on our Church Facebook page.
REVISED: In-Person Services to resume May 10 – 8:30 & 10:30 AM!
UPDATED 4/30/20: This post is revised to say we will have TWO Services each Sunday and not three. With the early response we got, we believe two services will provide ample room for social distancing as we begin. We will add a third service if needed as more people begin to venture out. Attend either service you want to attend!
At Cornerstone, we will resume having in-person Worship Services on Sunday, May 10, 2020! Gov. Mike Parson indicated in a call to Religious Leaders (see Facebook post below) that the Stay-at-home order will be lifted on Monday, May 4, Sunday services can resume on May 10.
We will plan to have two services each Sunday – 8:30am & 10:30am (both the same) – in order to keep crowds small to comply with Social-distancing guidelines that people be 6 ft. away from each other. We will block off every other pew in order to accomplish this. Family units can sit together, but be 6 ft away from other family units. These guidelines are in effect at least until June 1. Please know that if you are in a high-risk group, we totally understand and support you if you decide it best to stay home for a while longer. We are not putting pressure on ANYONE to get out if you are not comfortable doing so.
We will continue to broadcast our 10:30am service each week on Facebook and YouTube. So you can join us for worship online if that works best for you.
The 6 ft. Social Distancing guideline means we will NOT be able to have Sunday School, Children’s Church or Nursery care provided until the guidelines are rescinded.
No offering plates will be passed in the services. Offering plates will be on tables with envelopes provided. Hand Sanitizer will also be available and pews will be sanitized between services. We need volunteers to help with the sanitizing between services. Send me a text or call 821-1621 if you are willing to help.
You can attend either of the two services you would like to attend.
Thank you so much for your understanding during this unusual and challenging time! It will be great to see you again in Worship soon!

VBS Postponed Due to Coronavirus Crisis
Due to the continued uncertainly surrounding the Coronavirus Crisis, we are postponing indefinitely our 2020 Vacation Bible School, which had been scheduled for June 7-11.
At this point, there’s no way to know when the request not to meet in groups of 10 or more people will be lifted. The crisis has made it impossible to recruit our workers for the week and get all the plans and preparation in place.
The other unknown is how things will unfold once everything begins to open up . So even if restrictions are lifted by June 7, it is unlikely everyone will immediately return to normal in feeling able and willing to get out and be with large groups of people.
Once the crisis has passed, we will reassess the situation and decide what we can do. Thank you for your understanding.
