Welcome, Transitional Pastor Ken Martin
We are excited to welcome Ken Martin as transitional pastor to Cornerstone Baptist Church. A transitional pastor is someone who takes on leading the church family during the time they are searching for a new pastor. This approach assures the needs of the church are being met while the Pastor Search Committee searches for the man God is calling to be our pastor. Please pray for our future pastor and Pastor Ken and his wife, Carla, as they minister to us during this time. April’s Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal Schedule
Did you know we have fellowship meals every Wednesday Night during the school year? We know it’s hard to rush around and get to church after work, so we’re taking the “What’s for Dinner?” frustration out of the way. We appreciate a $5 donation for those 18 years old and up. Kids eat free! Meals are served from 5:00-5:45 p.m. Come join us!
April 1 – Hamburger Steaks & Baked Potato
April 8 – Nachos
April 15 – Cowboy or Potato Soup
April 22 – Chili or Vegetable Soup
April 29 – Pizza

February Work Day
We had a group of guys who came out to show love to our church family this Valentines Day, by working on our church building. The shades in the Sensory/Restless Room were replaced with a blackout curtain. The shades that had been in the Sensory/Restless Room were moved to the window by the sound booth in the sanctuary. The hand rails were secured for the staircase. Brighter lights were added to the elevator and motion sensitive lights were added to the hallway outside of the elevator on the main floor. A television was added to the nursery, so the workers can watch the church service. An outlet in the nursery was moved up behind the TV, so it and the cord for the TV are out of reach of little, curious hands. Thank you so much for all your hard work, guys!
