VBS: Illumination Station

It’s almost time for VBS!

Vacation Bible School is June 7-11, 2026!

Culture claims to know about Jesus, but many people are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history or a good man or a good teacher – but He is more than that! This summer, VBS will shine a light on who Jesus really is. Meet us at Illumination Station™ for the brightest week of the year. Kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world! Like the disciples, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” Through Bible study, music, games and crafts, kids will discover it is not a matter of opinion. Jesus is who Scripture says He is – the perfect, proven, and powerful Son of God. Light up your summer at Illumination Station™ and shine a light on Jesus! We have classes for all ages from birth to adult.

Here are some important things to know about this year’s VBS:

  • A meal will be served at 5:00 PM in the Large Fellowship Hall.
  • At 5:40 PM, children in the nursery class will go straight to their classroom. Youth and adults will proceed to the sanctuary. Preschool & children’s classes will line up for the Worship Rally processional.
  • At 5:45 PM Worship Rally begins in the Sanctuary.
  • Preschoolers (babies – Kindergarten) need to be registered each night where the child and parents will receive matching wristbands for pick-up. The children will also receive a stick-on name badge at registration. A parent, grandparent, or guardian must stay in the building during VBS. If they are not working in VBS they should attend the Adult VBS Class. These children will be picked up at the end of the evening in their classrooms.
  • Children (grades 1-4) need to be checked in each night on the Sign-In/Sign-Out sheet by a parent, grandparent, or guardian. The children will receive a lanyard badge at registration. Pick-up for 1st through 4th grade will be in the Large Fellowship Hall.
  • Our offering will be for the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox mission project postage. Our goal for this year is $400. We hope you will join us this year for Bible Study and fun!

New Youth Room

Thank you!

Our Youth group is growing and there’s been a need for more space and resources. The Youth Council has been very active in reaching out to our youth and finding out their needs and interests. This new space is a direct answer for those needs. Amy Potts created the Faith mural for the youth room.

The youth want to thank our church family and the Youth Council for creating this space for them. God is at work with our youth and we cannot wait to see how He uses them for their good and His glory.

Huge shout out to Tim Wood for all his work on this project. Thank you!
