“Journey Through the Indispensable Book” – A Survey of the Bible – Sunday Nights – Continues 5/23/21

NOTE: Join us 6/20/21 at 6pm for Lesson 14: “The Blessing of Faith” – Genesis 14; 18. In-person or Live Online on Facebook and Youtube.

The Bible is the indispensable book. That’s because it is the Word of God. The word “indispensable” means, “absolutely necessary,” “not subject to being set aside or neglected.” It is from God’s heart to our hearts. If we are to know why we are here and where we are going, we must give ourselves over to the indispensable Book – the Bible.

It is to that end we will journey through the pages of God’s Word in a systematic way on Sunday nights at 6 PM, from Genesis to Revelation, knowing that God will speak to us and do His work of growth and change in our lives. We will begin this journey on January 24, 2021, at 6 PM in the Sanctuary, which will also be broadcast online each week. I hope you will be blessed beyond measure as you open yourself to His Word, and that you will never be the same again for having done so.

Sunday School Open! Sundays at 9:30 am! Classes for All Ages – See List

Exciting News!

Cornerstone will be reopening Sunday School (Bible Study) for all ages starting April 18, 2021!

Below is a list of the classes available. We hope you and your family will plan to attend every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. There are several classes for Adults. You are welcome to visit more than one class as you decide which one is best for you.

Many churches gave up on Sunday School years ago. But there is something powerful about spending time in Bible Study with other believers. Having your children and grandchildren in Sunday School to study the Bible and learn about Jesus, in a class with their peers, and with teachers who love them and care about their spiritual growth on a consistent basis, is so important for their spiritual development. That’s why we have worked hard to keep offering Sunday School for all ages – and why we are reopening it now in the wake of the Pandemic.

A huge “thank you” goes out to all who have stepped up and committed to teaching and working to make it possible for us to offer these classes! Additional classes may be added as time goes along. See you in Sunday School!

We will be having a potluck meal on Sunday evening, March 7, at 5:30 PM to kickoff our Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions!

We hope you will bring some food to share (main dish and a side or dessert) and join us for this special evening of food, fellowship, and devotion as we focus on our efforts to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ across North America.

Our church goal for the Easter Offering this year is $4,500, every penny of which will be sent to the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention to help support the thousands of missionaries serving all across North America.

We hope to see you Sunday night, and thank you for supporting the cause of sharing Christ!

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions – Goal Exceeded! Thank You!

Goal: $4,500 Given to Date (5/10/21): $4,600! Goal Exceeded! Thanks for your Faithful and Generous Giving!

Our Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions is about to get underway! This special offering supports thousands of Southern Baptist Missionaries sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the United States and across North America.

Every penny given to this offering will go to the North American Mission Board of our Southern Baptist Convention to be used to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Our church goal this year is $4,500, as we cooperate with more than 40,000 other Southern Baptist Churches in supporting this great Missions effort. You can give online (choose “Annie Armstrong” in drop-down menu), in-person, by mail over and above your regular giving at any time between now and the end of April to support this great cause of sharing Jesus with people across the United States and the rest of North America!

Attention: SUNDAY 2/14/21 – 10:30AM Worship Only; No 8:30 Service or Evening Bible Study

Due to the extreme cold and forecast of snow tomorrow, 2/14/21, we will only have our 10:30am Worship Service. The Sunday School classes that have been meeting will meet as scheduled at 9;30am.

So there will be no 8:30am service or Evening Bible Study. We hope you will stay warm and safe during this prolonged period of very cold winter weather. If you need to stay home, we will broadcast our 10:30am Worship Service as usual. Take care!
