Baptist Press Article on Cornerstone Featured in MBC Newspaper

Baptist Press write Karen Willoughby did a feature article on our church, which has been published at the Baptist Press website, and in our Missouri Baptist Convention Newspaper – The Pathway.

Baptist Press contacted Cornerstone for a feature article because we are a church that gives 10% each month to the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. The Cooperative Program funds a multitude of ministries, including providing a large portion of the funds for our missionaries serving around the world and here in North America.

Parents can drop the kids off on the West side of our building, at the Large Fellowship Hall door, and pick them up anytime between 5:00-8:30 pm. Attention: 10:30am Worship Only January 2; No Sunday School

ATTENTION: We will have ONLY the 10:30am Morning Worship today, January 2, due to the snow and ice. The roads and parking lot are partially covered at this time (6:45am), so we thought it would be difficult for a number of our Sunday School teachers to make it to church. So, NO SUNDAY SCHOOL today, but we will have our 10:30am worship service in-person and online. Take care and have a wonderful day.

2021 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions – Goal $4200; UPDATED – Goal Exceeded!

Our 2021 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions is underway! We join more than 40,000 other Southern Baptist Churches in this great cause to share to Good News of Jesus Christ to the ends of the Earth!

Our Church Goal for the Offering is $4,200. As of 1/3/22, we have given $4228! We have exceeded the goal! Thank you so much for your faithful giving!

This offering supports more than 3,600 missionaries serving all over the world, providing nearly half of their total support – particularly most of the funds used for actual ministry. Our Cooperative Program giving every month (Cornerstone gives 10% of our General Receipts to the Cooperative Program) provides the other half of the International Mission Board’s funding. We are privileged to be part of a worldwide missions endeavor.

Let’s give generously to reach our goal and tell the world about Jesus this Christmas! Thanks for your generosity!
