Dear Church Family,

On October 7, 2001, I accepted the call of this wonderful church to be your Pastor. This past Sunday, September 28, I announced I will be retiring, effective November 30, 2025. Rose and I are certain of God’s leading in this decision, and we want to express our gratitude and thanks to all of you for the great privilege of serving the Lord with you these 24 years.

Please begin praying each day for the new Pastor God will bring to Cornerstone in the future. The Deacons will be putting together a Preaching Schedule to begin in December, and will bring any necessary recommendations to the church on filling the pulpit until a new Pastor is found. Our Church Constitution specifies that a Pastor Search Committee will be nominated and elected at a Business Meeting to seek out a new Pastor. They will eventually bring a candidate before the church for approval. Please pray for God’s leadership, guidance and strength throughout this process. We know that God will provide!
