UPDATE: PostPoned Due to Weather 2/6/21; winter Bible Study – “Elijah: Truth For All Seasons” – Feb. 5-7

NOTE: Our Second Night of the Study 2/6/21 is postponed due to the snow. We will find a time to complete the study in the near future.

We hope you will join us for our 2021 Winter Bible Study February 5-7 at Cornerstone! We will use a DVD Study by Dr. Ed Young Sr. on the life of the Prophet Elijah.

The first two days of the study will be held in the Large Fellowship Hall. Each video session is just under 30 minutes. We will watch and discuss together the first two segments on Friday Night, February 5 from 6:00-7:30 pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Segments three and four will be viewed and discussed on Saturday night, February 6 from 6:00- 7:30 pm. The final session will be during the Sunday Morning Worship Service (8:30 & 10:30 am) with Pastor Brian preaching the closing message. There will be no Evening activities February 7 following the study.

Here is a synopsis of the study: “Elijah was a great man of God who stood for truth in the face of a pagan king and an idolatrous nation. However, like many of us today he faced anxiety, burnout and depression.  Despite his weaknesses God used Elijah in mighty ways. In this series discover how God works out His purposes, even in times of deep despair and how He can do that in your life, too!”
