Return to Two Sunday Morning Services, 8:30 & 10:30 am July 12; Other Activites paused

In light of virus outbreaks in some of our local churches this week, and the rising number of COVID-19 cases in our area, we will return to our two Sunday Morning Service format – identical services 8:30 & 10:30 am – this Sunday, July 12. We will block off every other pew again to provide for social distancing. We will continue to have our Wednesday night Bible Study each week at 6:30 pm.

We will suspend our plans to resume regular Sunday School classes and Children’s Church during Worship, and all other activities. We certainly regret having to do this, but we must respond to the situation in our area. After consulting with our Deacons, we are in agreement this is the precautionary step we must take for now.

We will return to offering two Sunday School opportunities during the week. Joe Davis will teach a class in the Small Fellowship Hall on Monday nights at 6:30 pm. Kay Payne will teach a class on Thursday nights at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

Stay positive, and trust in the Lord! He is with us and will bring us through this time to a better, brighter day! Thank you for your support of Cornerstone! You are a wonderful people, a people of faith who are mature and selfless. Your example of faith and strength through this time has greatly encouraged me, and I know God will use it to bless the lives of so many in our community. May God richly bless you!
