"G.R.O.W" stands for "God Rewards Our Work". It describes our approach to reaching out for Jesus Christ that we use here at Cornerstone!

Before Jesus returned to heaven after His resurrection from the dead, He leftHis followers with a command to, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen." (Matthew 28:19-20)

Jesus' command for us to go begins in our own backyard and extends to the ends of the earth! To be more effective in reaching out here in our community, we are using the "G.R.O.W" approach.

"G.R.O.W" is composed of four teams: a G team; a R team; an O team; and a W team. Each team is responsible for doing outreach on one Tuesday night a month from 7:00 - 8:15 PM. Each team comes to the church on their Tuesday night, and each member chooses what they would like to do to reach out that evening. Choices include:

Visiting
Making phone calls
Writing letters or postcards
Praying at the church
Prayerwalking

Each activity is important to contacting people in our community who desperately need to know that God loves them, and that there is a church who cares about them and is praying for them.
